There are only a few decisions in car shipping, and each service on this page is one of them made for you. The trailer: open, which is the two-level carrier you see on the interstate and the way nine in ten cars travel, or enclosed, a hard-sided box for the cars that should not see weather. The handover: door to door, which is the standard and what every quote on this site assumes. The timing: standard, which is one to five days for pickup, or expedited, which holds a truck for you within 48 hours. And the situation: a cross-country move, a winter in Florida or Arizona, a military transfer, a car bought at auction, a classic, a car that does not run.
Every service page below explains what the service is, what it costs against the plain open-carrier price, who it is for and who it is not for, and how it is booked. The ranges on each page come from the same distance bands the quote form uses, and the form itself lets you switch the trailer and the timing to see what each choice does to your number before you enter a phone number.

Learn moreOpen vs enclosed
The trailer decision is the one that moves the price most, and it is simpler than it looks. Nine in ten cars ship open and arrive fine; the rest are the classics, exotics, low cars and fresh paint jobs whose owners would rather pay 40 to 60 percent more than wash off a thousand miles of road. Both prices sit side by side on every route page.

888-706-8784Open transport, door to door. It moves nine in ten cars in the country, it is what dealerships use, and it is the cheapest way to ship a running vehicle. Everything else on this page is for a specific car or a specific situation.
Yes. Enclosed and expedited, door-to-door and snowbird, military and cross-country are all combinations we book daily. The quote form asks about the trailer and the timing; your specialist handles the rest.
As close as a 75-foot truck can safely stop. On most suburban streets that is your driveway; in a dense city or a gated community it is a meeting point nearby, and the driver arranges it the day before.
Ask what a scratch would cost you. If the answer is a car wash, ship open. If it involves a body shop or diminished value, ship enclosed. Low cars need a liftgate regardless.
Yes. A car that does not start needs a truck with a winch and costs about $150 more; it must roll, steer and brake. Tell your specialist at booking so the right equipment is sent.
Motorcycles ship on car haulers in a wheel chock, usually enclosed, at about 20% below a sedan. Boats and RVs need different carriers and we can point you to them.
Open and door-to-door, yes, in all 50 states. Enclosed and expedited are available on every lane but take longer to assign on rural or quiet routes. Your specialist tells you the realistic window before you book.
Tell us the vehicle and the route. A specialist recommends the trailer and timing, then licensed carriers quote it.
