Terms of Service

Who we are

AutoShippingUS is an auto transport broker that arranges vehicle shipping with licensed, insured carriers in its network. We do not own trucks. The company that collects, transports and delivers your vehicle is the carrier named on your bill of lading, and the terms of carriage are between you and that carrier; we arrange the shipment and remain your point of contact throughout. Owner review: the legal entity, governing law and dispute-resolution terms below should be confirmed by counsel before publication.

Quotes and estimates

The estimate shown on this website is a range based on distance, vehicle type and trailer type. It is not an offer. A firm price is confirmed by a specialist once a carrier has accepted the load and depends on the exact addresses, the vehicle, the pickup window and current demand. A firm price may change only if the information you provided was inaccurate, for example a vehicle that does not run, oversized modifications, or more than the permitted personal items.

Booking and payment

No payment is made to AutoShippingUS. Where a carrier requires a partial payment at assignment, it is charged as described to you at booking. The balance is paid to the carrier at delivery in the form agreed. Dates may be changed without charge until a carrier has been dispatched. Cancellation after a carrier has been dispatched may incur a charge from the carrier, which will be disclosed to you before you confirm.

Your responsibilities

To provide accurate information about the vehicle, the locations and the dates. To have the vehicle ready as described on the preparation guidance: fuel at about a quarter tank, personal items removed or under the carrier's limit, alarms disabled, keys available. To have an authorised adult present at pickup and delivery to inspect the vehicle with the driver and sign the bill of lading. To inspect the vehicle at delivery before signing and note any damage on the delivery report.

Insurance and claims

The carrier's cargo insurance covers the vehicle from loading to delivery, subject to the carrier's policy terms. Personal items in the vehicle are not covered. Damage must be noted on the delivery report to support a claim. We will assist with any claim and remain involved until it is resolved, but the claim is against the carrier and its insurer.

Transit times

Pickup windows and transit times are estimates. Weather, road closures, mechanical issues and other customers' schedules can change them. Neither we nor the carrier are liable for delays or for costs arising from them, including rental cars, flights or lodging.

Website use

Content on this website is for general information. Prices, times and descriptions are updated periodically and may not reflect current conditions on a specific lane. You may not copy or republish the content without permission.

Limitation of liability

Our role is limited to arranging carriage. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a shipment is limited to the amount of any commission we received for that shipment.
