Car shipping in West Palm Beach: Palm Beach County, gate to gate

Palm Beach County is the Northeast's winter address on the Atlantic side. New York, Boston, Philadelphia and the New Jersey suburbs ship here from November to January and collect the cars again in April, and the county's communities from Jupiter to Boca Raton have receiving down to a routine. West Palm is delivered after the Space Coast and before Broward on the I-95 run, which puts it in the middle of the transit window and a step below the Fort Lauderdale and Miami prices from every northern origin.

The cars are a cut above average. Palm Beach ships enclosed more often than most of the state, for classics, exotics, and daily drivers whose owners prefer them not to arrive wearing a thousand miles of I-95. And nearly everything is gated: the handover happens at a visitor entrance, a clubhouse lot or a plaza on Okeechobee Boulevard, PGA Boulevard or Military Trail, and the car is driven the last mile. The quote form above is set to West Palm Beach; add the other end of the trip and your vehicle for a range.

Pickup and delivery in Palm Beach County

The communities decide the spot. Wellington's equestrian developments, the Ibis and Bear Lakes golf communities, PGA National, Abacoa, Mirasol, Frenchman's Creek, the Boca Raton country clubs, Delray's developments west of the Turnpike and the age-restricted communities along Jog Road all restrict commercial trucks. Drivers know them and arrange to meet at the visitor gate, the clubhouse parking lot or a plaza nearby; the car is driven the last stretch and the price does not change. Palm Beach island's bridges and narrow streets keep most carriers on the mainland side, with a handover on Flagler Drive or near the Intracoastal. Downtown West Palm and the older neighborhoods off Dixie Highway mean a lot on a main road. Jupiter, Juno Beach, Palm Beach Gardens' newer streets and the Acreage are direct to the door.

Receiving without the owner is the norm in season. Name the community office, a property manager, a neighbor or a house manager at booking, send them the pickup photographs and the bill of lading, and give them the driver's number. Palm Beach International's hotel lots on Belvedere Road are the handover for anyone flying the same day.

Two timing notes. I-95 through the county is heavy from mid-morning, and drivers schedule Boca and Delray deliveries early. From August through October a hurricane watch can hold a delivery by a day or two; carriers wait and nothing is charged.

Belongings and storage come up on every seasonal booking. Personal items stay under about 100 pounds, below the window line, and are not insured. A car left in Palm Beach County through the summer should be garaged with the battery on a tender and its insurance kept active; the sun and the salt air are hard on a parked car, and a dead battery in November is the most common reason a pickup turns into a winch job.

Why AutoShippingUS

Why West Palm Beach drivers choose AutoShippingUS

  • Enclosed capacity checked before you commit

Palm Beach ships enclosed more than almost any other Florida county. Before you book, your specialist checks that a hard-sided carrier with a liftgate is available on the I-95 run for your dates, so a classic or an exotic is not waiting for a trailer.

  • Gatehouse rules from Jupiter to Boca

PGA National, Ibis, Mirasol and the Boca clubs each decide whether a hauler comes through the visitor gate or meets you outside it. Your specialist confirms which applies when the truck is assigned.

  • Priced at the Palm Beach stop

West Palm is delivered before Broward and Miami, and our ranges reflect that: a step below Fort Lauderdale from every northern origin, shown before you enter a phone number.
